So I was thinking about what to write today and I remembered that Trish over at Pink Preppy Lilly Lover had asked me a while ago in a comment if I liked my nook, my ebook reader made by Barnes & Nobel, and I never had gotten back to her. I have been loving my nook this week and have been on a reading frenzy and thought I would write about why I love my nook today. I knew this would not fit in to the Pink & Green Thursday theme but decided to go gather some pics and info on the new lower prices of the nook online as earlier this week I was shocked at how they have lowered the prices and come out with two models now - smart thinking!! Well as I go to hit the accessories page (my favorite of course) what do I see...
That's right Lilly Pulitzer totes made for the nook... perfect! My urge to write about the nook would now fit perfectly in to a Pink & Green Thursday post!! The nook has gone preppy! I will admit one of the reasons I love my nook is the fact that you can accessorize the heck out of it and there is nothing that I don't love more than my gadgets and the ability to accessorize them!!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear good feedback about the Nook. I've been trying to decide whether to get a Nook or a Kindle (or neither). I like that you can go into a B&N and try out the Nook, where you can't do that with the Kindle. Decisions, decisions . . .
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness I love, love, love those totes! I think that the nook is so stinkin' cute, but reading for me is such a tactile activity. I love the feel of the weight of a book in my hands, and the smell of the pages... It's part of the luxury of reading to me, and since I spend all day staring at a screen it gives me a nice break to read words on a page... someday I'm sure I'll upgrade but for now I'm a hold out... but dang it if those accessories aren't tempting me! :)
ReplyDeleteI've been trying to decide between the Nook and the Kindle (I actually *just* posted on this), but that pink Kate Spade cover just pushed me in favor of the nook. I love the text on it!

Oh sweetie, this is the coolest post ever! I had read an article in the WSJ about Lilly making Nook totes but had not seen them. They are SO PRESH! I am so glad you love yours, thanks for answering my simple question in such a chic way! :) Your accessories are all divine, hmm, I am really wondering now if I need to look into purchasing one of these nifty Nooks! :) Very smart of those folks at Barnes & Noble to collaborate with Lilly, way to tug at my heartstrings LOL!
