I know this post is probably a little late in recapping my Memorial Day weekend but I wanted to have the pics before I posted it - because let's be honest pics are what make posts more fun!! I had an AMAZING 5 day weekend which has left me slightly sad to be back in the working routine especially since I did not want to leave M!
I arrived Thursday night and M so kindly took me to the grocery store and Trader Joes so I could pick up some gluten free eats and not be a grouchy Tarryn on the trip (I'm much happier when I have a stash of food in ziplock bags in my purse for when I just can't find food to eat) and I was super excited to find some new brands of gluten free yumminess! Below are some pics driving from the Boston airport to Lexington - sorry they are not so good as taken with my iphone (I don't have zoom on mine) so you can just barley make out the sailboats and people running...
Friday was a fun girly day as I spent it with my friend KC, one of my good friends from CU, and always enjoy spending a day shopping and catching up with her whenever I go up there! After having a fun time playing with Max's family dog, Marley, and taking him on a "walk" more so I could see his cute dachshund run more than anything - KC picked me up for our fun-filled day. We went to Nordstrom at the Natick mall, which I am dying to go back and check out the whole mall it looked like it had every store possible (the malls in FL for the most part or horrible hence my excitement at what I call "real" malls) but we didn't have time to look around as it was on to see Sex & the City 2. After the movie some lunch at Uno's which has a great g-free menu and then we met up with Max at the Burlington mall.
Saturday it was off to meet Max's sister, husband, and baby girl at the Long Sands beach in York ME - with a pit stop at Target on the way of course!! It was such a pretty day and amazing to be on the beach and not be melting like in FL - which I do love but every once and a while it's nice to sit for hours without feeling like you are melting! It was a nice relaxing afternoon followed with a walk in to the town and then M & myself headed off to Portsmouth, NH. We had such a yummy dinner at Flatbread afterwards we tried to figure out where the best margaritas were but found some not so great drinks we headed home for the evening - I think I was a bit tired from the long day and not in the mood to keep searching (we found them the next night)!

Sunday Morning we walked around Portsmouth and had fun looking in the cute stores, having a Starbucks (we love Starbucks), checking out the tall ships that were there for the weekend, and exploring the town. We were pretty proud of ourselves for actually being touristy and seeing as much as possible instead of deciding to head back for a snooze on the beach!

Later on Sunday afternoon we headed out to find a place to play mini golf - we played two rounds and had a lot of fun and actually got a lot of sun too!

After mini golf we headed back to get ready and then go out to dinner at Agave Mexican Bistro - it was SO yummy! After dinner we went to an outdoor bar and listened to the live band and their Caribbean tunes - we had a very busy day!!

Monday we headed over to Target for some tax free shopping and to pick up some food for the bbq, went over to M's sister's house for the bbq with his family and played apples to apples (love that game!), and then it was off to the airport to come back home to Florida for me... It was a perfect Memorial Day weekend!!!

I miss New England so much!! Its awesome to see you and max together having so much fun, seriously you need to prepare to move to Bean town in 2 years when hopefully (cross your fingers) we can move there! Is Max's dog wearing a red sox leash?! So Bostonian... hahaha! Such a cute dog, I haven't met him yet!
