Tad's Weekend...

I do have to apologize for taking a blogging break over the weekend! It was SOOOOO warm and sunny here in Florida, which is not unusual, but I had to spend some quality time outside by the pool reading several books on the nook! 

When I moved to Florida two years ago to finish up some classes I had left (due to a HORRIBLE advisor who set me up for a semester of incorrect classes when I transferred) online rather than over summer school (and save a TON of money) my parents suggested I live upstairs in their house. I was hesitant at first but the economy nose dived and to be honest I love living in a house that has a pool and dvr! So I do live at home in what I call my "loft" as upstairs I have two bathrooms, three bedrooms, an elliptical machine, and lounge as my parents live downstairs I pretty much have my own place. Life is pretty sweet at the parent's house let me tell you! I get embarrassed to talk about living at home but it is what it is and will eventually change. This weekend sitting poolside, which is my favorite thing, one of my favorite perks is that my dad, an engineer and pretty handy guy, had sawed off the back legs of a deck chair, that I for some reason moved from Colorado back to Florida, so that I could sit in the pool on the steps and read without having to stand for hours. Needles to say I spent a lot of time reading this weekend and finished an Agatha Christie novel and read more in the Sherlock Holmes Volume I that I have been reading from cover to cover. 

The drama of last week and my potential slow in posts this week is that I quit my job to finish my school work! I am a workaholic and will always put work over pretty much everything which means I have completely put off finishing my classes! I mean who would turn down a job in a bad economy? I never did and now I have quit so I will be spending, in two weeks time, the next three months just doing school work! I've been offered two jobs since I quit on Thursday and I'm having a really hard time not accepting immediately as workaholic Tarryn kicks in! I'm having to say no and lock myself at home and finish this work so I can move on which I am ready to do. For those that know me you know there is much more to this story and reasons for having some classes left. So while I train people at work to do my job and deal with the fact that my bosses are devastated and I keep having to say "no I won't keep working" (again super hard to do) I may not have time to post much this week. Hopefully Allison will not be super busy studying for the bar and will keep up our blogging obsession or heck let's be honest I probably will too! 

On one last note after a patient kept telling me about this gluten free frozen yogurt place called SunniBunni, she goes to every Friday one finally opened near where I live and I AM OBSESSED! I am already thinking about how I want one and this has been my thought since oooh I woke up this morning!!
