Top 2 Tuesday and an award!!

Happy Top 2 Tuesday!!

Today's Q: What would be your Top 2 Things (not people) you would take to a deserted island??

This one is tough!! I'm guessing there are not outlets on this island for me to charge my iphone (camera and entertainment all in one) or my nook  (I could read a ton of books while it would only count as one item) so I will have to go with...

1. Sun protection - I'm making this a broad category so I can include sunglasses, sunscreen (several cans of the spray on kind), lip balm with sunscreen, and a floppy hat to keep my head and yes color treated hair safe from the sun!

My favorite beach accessories come from Target - I don't feel bad if my sunglasses get all yucky when they didn't cost and arm & a leg and Target has such cute sunglasses!! This black hat from there last year is my favorite!!

2. My yorkie-poo, Coco Chanel, she would get a kick out of it! What? They said "no people" dogs were not specified in the "no" category! ;-) Now Princess, my cocker spaniel, would also enjoy the island but as she is rather fury and gets overheated quite easily I think she would prefer the air-conditioning back home. Also, I can carry Coco easily if I need to run from a monkey or some island animal she would be safe ;-) Besides she loves to hang out by the pool and would love the ocean! I keep meaning to take her to a dog beach around here but it is so hot!

In 10 years: 

I know this sounds crazy but I don't want to answer this question - I'm probably the first person to say this - I know! I used to be the type of gal who had everything planned out and decided after I went through an interesting experience not to plan too far ahead for myself. Now don't get me wrong I have lists still of what I want to do, where I want to live, where I want to travel... but I have really worked on calming down my extreme type-A personality and have enjoyed going with what comes my way and for some reason I'm lucky enough that what comes my was is usually what is best for me and I'm going to try to do this for a while instead of plan everything out... I would like to own my own condo or home though and maybe have another dog for Coco Chanel ;-)
