The Versatile Blogger Award!!

Allison & myself are super excited because we won our first blogging award, The Versatile Blogging Award!! Thank you to Rachel for thinking of us over at You Just Can't Google Everything! As this is our first award we won't lie we feel like blogging celebrities ;-) and are so excited someone actually reads our blog!! 

Blog Awards apparently come with rules so here they are:

Allison's 7 Things:

1. I watch almost every show on TV.  No, really, I do -- during finals when I watched almost no TV for 2 weeks this year, my DVR was 93% full.  It really stresses me out when it gets like that!

2. I hate listening to people chew.  I think it's the grossest thing in the world and even though I know it's totally irrational, I can't help myself!

3. I LOVE weddings!  Whenever someone gets engaged I get excited, hoping they will ask me to help with some craft project -- i.e. calligraphy for the envelopes, ribbon tying, ANYTHING!

4. I have a pet goldfish that is three years old.  I think the secret to his long life is that I always forget to feed him for days at a time.  They say fish get overfed all the time ... not by me!

5. I would not want to win the lottery, unless I got less than $250,000 -- I think it would make me so lazy and unmotivated!

6. My dream job would be travel writer -- going on trips and writing magazine reviews of hotels, etc.  Why did I go to law school?

7. I really want a dog but I know I would be horrible at training it.  As I type this my fat cat is standing on my kitchen table on top of a pile of clean laundry.  :( She doesn't obey.

Tarryn's 7 Things:

1. I love love love gadgets - one of the girls I work with yesterday (as I was googling the new iphone - so sweet!) looked at me and said you are the biggest geek yet no one would ever know by looking at you... Thanks Whitney =) I do love my techie side which also involves accessorizing my gadgets - so I'm not THAT geeky just a gadget gal - it made me laugh!

2. I am the only person in my family with an American accent. The only American in our family sounds British and has dual passports and lived here for a year so it is the family joke that I - a non-American - am so American - I was born in South Africa but have a British passport. 

3. I have lived in many places such as Japan, South Africa, KY, MO, CO, FL, and because of this it is pretty sweet that Allison and myself have been bff's since the 4th grade!

4. My dream job would be actually like Allison's reading books and traveling and writing reviews. I'd also love to work for a magazine or be a buyer specializing in handbags for a store!! 

5. I take pet ownership very seriously and don't travel as often as I would because of my dog Coco Chanel, who is almost human - as these little dogs tend to be - and hates being left alone even at night (she helps me not spend money going to bars!)

6. I am an organizer and HATE if things are out of place or dumped for an extended period of time. My one boss called me Ms. Clean Jeans... I hate clutter what can I say??

7. I have a long list of places where I want to live if only Coco Chanel didn't mind flying (she hates it) we would be off to London (they have doggie passports now so you can skip quarantine) state-side I have many cities but Seattle has always fascinated me even though I have never been!
