Allison may be an (almost) lawyer, but she hopes that she is more entertaining than the ones you see in the movies (think that weird, awkward guy from Legally Blonde). The last three years of law school haven’t been terribly entertaining, but hopefully that will change once the studying is over and she can start living a somewhat-normal life. She is the mother of Miss Maybelline, an adorable but overweight, anxiety-prone (Prozac-popping) kitty, who she loves some days and kind of hates some days. She has always lived in Lexington, Kentucky, except for in Indiana (and an increible semester in Spain) where she attended college. Allison’s BF is Evan, another almost-attorney, who lives in Lexington and spends a lot of time watching television with Allison and Mabel.

In her spare time, Allison enjoys craft projects, painting, baking cupcakes, and bloody marys. Her apartment is full of art projects, with a list of more that she plans to tackle after the bar exam is over. With more time and money, she would live on a cruise ship, coming ashore only to restock on books and sunscreen. Until she wins the lottery, though, she loves living in horse country and taking frequent country drives.
Allison is the television guru bloggerista, and can give you recommendations on which shows to watch on which nights (she is the TV Guide of her friends). Allison is also known as THE Facebook guru! If you need to know something Allison can figure it out. She pulls off her Facebook obsession with class and views it as a useful form of procrastination. Like Tarryn, she can give you a long list of book recommendations, and as a bit of a bargain hunter, can often tell you how to get what you want for less money. She is also the crafty bloggerista – and has spent the last few years wishing her friends would hurry up and get married so she could help with the DIY projects! Someday, she will either start her own law firm, start her own art studio, or some combination of the two. We’ll see.
