2Bloggeristas: The Bloggeristas

At the Cincinnati Zoo one cold day in 1994, Allison’s fourth-grade class took a trip to the Cincinnati Zoo. Tad’s mom was Allison’s teacher (Allison’s favorite teacher, mainly because she had an awesome British accent!), and brought her daughter along for the overnight trip. How could she have known that she was planting the 2Bloggeristas seed 16 years ago?

Tad and Al have been friends ever since (and are planning a fabulous 20^th anniversary trip for 2014!). Together, they have shared hundreds of mp3s, had millions of IM conversations, and probably spent a total of three years on the phone. Together, they have survived perms, bangs, unfortunate fashion choices, and Beanie Baby collections. Yes, they even had a broken-heart BFF necklace. Jealous? They haven’t lived in the same state since 2004 when Tad's family moved to FL but have managed to keep in touch via many a phone call. (After several trips to Sarasota with free lodging, Allison is secretly loving the fact that Tarryn lives in Florida!)

Tarryn had the brilliant idea of starting 2Bloggeristas about a year ago, and they’ve been blogging about everything from television shows (The Bachelorette, anyone?) to shopping advice ever since.
